| WHAT: | Centerstone’s Ambassadors Circle will host a cocktail reception featuring a discussion led by Dr. Herb Meltzer of Vanderbilt University Medical Center on Tuesday, December 2, at Ingram Industries on Harding Road in Belle Meade. Photographers are encouraged to attend. Dr. Meltzer’s discussion titled, “Aim for the Stars: Searching for a Cure for Schizophrenia,” will review current research and progress on treating and ultimately curing schizophrenia, a serious and chronic brain disorder that affects about one percent of Americans. Established in 2005, the Ambassadors Circle works to advance Centerstone's mission by serving as representatives to the community, advancing the organization’s mission and creating awareness of behavioral health issues. |
