The Centerstone Research Institute (CRI) has secured a three-year, $5 million grant as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act allowed Centerstone to create the Career Resource Center. Centerstone's Career Resource Center offers education opportunities, job training, employment placement assistance and support services to 600 people in five Middle Tennessee counties: Maury, Bedford, Coffee, Marshall, and Lawrence.
Centerstone’s Career Resource Center offers services to help prepare individuals to select, enter and advance in various areas of the healthcare industry. As part of the grant-funded program, approximately 420 people will receive funding to complete and receive a certificate or degree, and 290 will be placed into employment following their training. Support services offered through Centerstone’s Career Resource Center include child care assistance and interview preparation training.
The Center officially launched operations and began reviewing potential participants on Tuesday, June 15. Our offices, located in Tullahoma and Columbia, opened on July 1.

Centerstone’s Career Resource Center is led by Mary Moran, Centerstone’s Director of Community-Based Services for Adults.
