Adults with serious mental illnesses face particular challenges and barriers associated with both the symptoms and the inherent characteristics of these illnesses. Community Support Services offers an array of service and treatment options that promote the effective management of these symptoms and barriers, while also maximizing an individual's capacity for recovery.
Eligibility: At least 18 yrs of age or adjudicated adults. Have a primary, Axis I or II diagnosis under the DSM-IV TR. The duration of the mental illness has been or is expected to be in excess of 12 months. However, adults who have experiences a situational trauma do not have to meet the duration requirement of this clause.
