Mobile therapy assists clients who have difficulty getting to their initial intakes or follow-up appointments at one of our outpatient clinic locations. Mobile Therapy provides a solution so families do not go without necessary mental health services by bringing the service directly to the patient. Mobile Therapists meet clients in their homes or other locations for their appointments so that a transportation issue, time conflict, distance from a clinic or other barrier will not keep them from getting the help they need. Staff members travel to the child and their family to complete the intake and refer them to appropriate care, whether that be Outpatient Counseling, Psychiatric Evaluation, Intensive In-Home Treatment Services, School-Based Services, Case Management, Continuous Treatment Team or, in some instances, continued Mobile Therapy.
