Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) offer daily life-skills training, medical education or psychotherapy groups for consumers who need structure and activity to stabilize and manage their illness. Most programs include dual diagnosis components using the IDDT model for consumers with both mental illness and substance abuse problems.
Eligibility: Generally appropriate for adults with serious and persistent mental illness who are having serious difficulty with several aspects of daily functioning.
