This program was created in response to the need for culturally appropriate mental health services. The program provides provides mental health outreach, education and treatment benefiting culturally diverse individuals throughout Davidson County. These individuals come from a variety of homelands and suffer post traumatic stress disorder, major depression and other illnesses common among persons surviving trauma -- wars, violent deaths of friends and family members, detention camps displacement.
