| Supportive Services for Veterans Families (SSVF) | Ages: 18 and older (and family members of all ages) State: TN | |
|---|---|---|
| The SSVF program prevents homelessness in Middle Tennessee by helping qualifying veterans and their families gain access to the resources they need in order to successfully transition to or maintain permanent housing. The program can provide referrals to housing services, health care services, transportation services and much more to low income and very-low income households where the head of the household or spouse is a veteran and the family is at risk for homelessness or is currently homeless. Temporary financial assistance for expenses like rent and utility fees may also be available. This program is provided free of charge to eligible veterans through a grant from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). | ||
