Violence and Bullying Prevention Program Ages: Third, fourth and fifth grade students

A research-based model curriculum for the promotion of healthy beliefs and clear standards of behavior regarding social interaction is provided through the Violence and Bullying Prevention Program. Empathy, impulse control and anger management are the foundation for healthy social interaction and are fundamental to an effective social skills enhancement program. Prevention Specialists facilitate the evidence-based Second Step curriculum to grades 3-5 in weekly classroom meetings. This program is funded by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health.
