A New Bed
A new bed was more than a new bed to a client, as sleep is essential for good health and well-being.
“Maxine loves her bed. She says that it is beautiful and long enough that she doesn’t hang over the edge. She couldn’t believe that there are people nice enough that care to do things like that.”
Autism Assessment
By providing funding to support an autism services assessment, a client was able to get an official diagnosis. This led to them being able to access needed resources and services, learn to better understand their unique strengths and challenges, and foster self-acceptance and self-advocacy.
Welcome Home Baskets
We were able to supply Welcome Home Baskets to survivors of domestic violence that are starting a new life and new home. The baskets were full of towels, pots and pans, cleaning supplies, dish sets, bed sheets, pillows, and kitchen necessities to help them get started.
Leaders In Training
In efforts to empower middle school students against drugs and violence, we were able to sponsor a Leaders in Training summit. By investing in prevention for our youth early on, we know it will help them make more informed decisions as they grow that can impact the trajectory of their life.
RecoverED Garden
We were able to provide a program for people living with eating disorders the supplies to cover everything needed for a garden. It is helping address food insecurity, improve client’s relationship with food, and create a new outlet to experience joy.
Youth SUD Program Spaces
Our foundation was able to enhance a youth substance use disorder (SUD) program by creating engaging, welcoming, and therapeutic spaces that promote healing and growth. For example, there were reading nook enhancements, client room enhancements, sensory room development, outdoor recreation equipment, and more purchased to meet the unique needs of youth navigating SUD challenges.
Supportive Recovery Projects
Blessing bags, a recovery garden, recovery workbooks, and a sensory room were all made possible to support clients in recovery. These resources provide clients with dignity, healthy hobbies, therapeutic tools, and supportive environments for their recovery journey.
New Shoes For A Client
A client that didn’t have any shoes was able to receive a brand new pair thanks to the generous funds collected from employee champions. Treating clients with dignity is of utmost importance, as well as being able to offer them resources to help keep them safe (even their feet!).

A small payroll deduction through Workday of $5, $10, or any amount, can make all the difference. Your support allows us to say yes when clients need that extra help. When you participate, rest assured that your donations will stay in the region you support. Therefore, your community will directly benefit from your generosity.

- Note: Needs must meet criteria and there must be local funds available!
- Your donations will ignite transformational change for the clients and families we serve. When there are gaps in funding, you can be a part of the solution.
To get enrolled, visit Workday, a cloud-based software platform used by our network. Enrollment is open all year around and you can change your donation amount at any time.
- Go to “Change Benefits”
- Select “Brightli Gives Employee Giving”
- Enter the date your payroll deduction will begin and enter the amount you’d like to donate each pay period in the comment box (minimum donation is $3)
